  • High blood pressure
  • Horseshoe kidney
  • Polycystic kidney disease
  • Smoking
  • Von Hippel-Lindau disease (a hereditary disease that affects blood vessels in the brain, eyes, and other body parts)

Symptoms

  • Abdominal pain and swelling
  • Back pain
  • Blood in the urine
  • Swelling of the veins around a testicle (varicocele)
  • Flank pain
  • Weight loss
Other symptoms that can occur with this disease:
  • Excessive hair growth in females
  • Pale skin

Signs and tests

Physical examination reveals
  • Mass or swelling of the abdomen
  • A varicocele in the male scrotum
Tests include:
  • Abdominal CT scan
  • Blood chemistry
  • Complete blood count (CBC)
  • Intravenous pyelogram (IVP)
  • Liver function tests
  • Renal arteriography
  • Ultrasound of the abdomen and kidney
  • Urine tests
The following tests may be done to see if the cancer has spread:
  • Abdominal CT scan
  • Abdominal MRI
  • Bone scan
  • Chest x-ray

Acetyl Cysteine Eye Drops 5% w/v

approved as a new DCGI nolecule on 14-12-2010 indicated for the relief of dry eye symptoms associated
with deficient tear secretion, impaired or abnormal mucus production.
Dry eye syndrome is a very common condition that is characterized by a disturbance of the tear film. This abnormality may result in disruption of the ocular surface. Dry eye syndrome (DES) -- also called dry eye or keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS) -- is a common disorder of the tear film that affects a significant percentage of the population, especially those older than 40 years of age.
  • To help keep the eyes comfortable and vision optimal, a normal, thin film of tears coats the eyes. Three main layers make up this tear film.
  • The innermost layer is the thinnest. It is a layer of mucin (or mucus). This very thin layer of mucus is produced by the cells in the conjunctiva (the clear skin that lines the eye). The mucus helps the overlying watery layer to spread evenly over the eye.
  • The middle (or aqueous) layer is the largest and the thickest. This layer is essentially a very dilute saltwater solution. The lacrimal glands under the upper lids and the accessory tear glands produce this watery layer. The function of this layer is to keep the eye moist and comfortable, as well as to help flush out any dust, debris, or foreign objects that may get into the eye. Defects of the aqueous layer are the most common cause of dry eye syndrome, also referred to as dry eye or keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS).
  • The most superficial layer is a very thin layer of lipids (fats or oils). These lipids are produced by the meibomian glands and the glands of Zeis (oil glands in the eyelids). The main function of this lipid layer is to help decrease evaporation of the watery layer beneath.

Ramelteon film coated tablets 8mg

approved by DCGI as a new drug on 15-12-2010 for the treatment of insomnia characterized by
difficulty with sleep onset. Insomnia or sleeplessness refers to the individual's report of sleeping difficulties.
Ref.: ^ a b c d e Roth, Thomas (15 August 2007). "Insomnia: Definition, Prevalence, Etilogy, and Consequences". J Clin Sleep Med 3 (5 Suppl): S7–S10. PMC 1978319. PMID 17824495

Episodes may come and go (episodic), last up to 3 weeks (short-term), or be long-lasting (chronic). While the term is sometimes used in sleep literature to describe a disorder demonstrated by polysomnographic evidence of disturbed sleep.

Memantine hydrochloride ER tablet 7mg/14mg/21mg

is an orally active NMDA receptor antagonist. The chemical name for memantine hydrochloride is 1-amino-3,5-dimethyladamantane hydrochloride. It has demonstrated efficacy and safety in Alzheimer's disease and is
approved for use in the European Union and Australia.
Memantine, a low to moderate affinity NMDA (N-methyl-D-aspartate) receptor antagonist is thought to selectively block the effects associated with abnormal transmission of the neurotransmitter glutamate, while allowing for the physiological transmission associated with normal cell functioning.
The overexcitation of NMDA receptors by the neurotransmitter glutamate may facilitate Alzheimer's disease since glutamate is found in the neural pathways associated with learning and memory. Abnormal levels of glutamate may be responsible for neuronal cell dysfunction and the eventual cell death observed in Alzheimer's disease.
